To Consign Your Wedding Dress
Please complete the information form and sign our contract to be considered for consignment. Once completed, you will be contacted to schedule a drop off if we think your dress has a chance of selling at this time.
1. Policy:
Gently Loved is committed to transparent and honest consignment practices. Our expert team offers candid advice regarding your dress's potential resale value. We reserve the right to use discretion in accepting dresses, considering factors such as age, style, price, condition, brand, and others. Dresses must be no more than three years old, and we accept dresses from any designer bridal store. However, dresses from large retailers like David's Bridal will not be accepted. All dresses should be free of stains, odors, or damage.
2. Compensation:
Gently Loved will pay the consignor 50% of the final sale price, minus any applicable taxes, via a mailed check. You will be notified by email when your dress sells, and you must provide your mailing address within 30 days of receiving the notification. If the consignor fails to provide their mailing address within 30 days, the check will be considered null and void, and all profits associated with the consignment will become the property of Gently Loved without further notice.
3. Consignment Period:
The consignment agreement is valid for a 12-month period. After this period, the consignor may choose to re-consign, donate to Gently Loved, or retrieve their items. The consignor is responsible for keeping track of contract dates. You must contact the shop within 30 days after the contract end date, or the item will become the property of Gently Loved LLC without further notice.
4. Handling and Wear:
As your trusted wedding dress broker, Gently Loved is committed to transparency and care. While we do not carry insurance for inventory we do not own, we handle each item with the utmost care. Please note that as items are tried on and handled, some wear may occur by the time of pick-up.
5. Binding Agreement:
This agreement shall be binding upon the parties, their heirs, executors, personal representatives, administrators, and assigns. No person shall have a right or cause of action arising from this agreement, except those who are parties to it and their successors in interest. This agreement, including any attached exhibits and addenda, constitutes the entire agreement of the parties. No representations or promises have been made except those set forth in this agreement.
6. Acknowledgment:
The undersigned consignor acknowledges having read and agreed to the terms outlined in this consignment agreement.
I acknowledge and understand the terms outlined in the aforementioned contract, and I opt to proceed accordingly.
